mha were appointed in 2013 to undertake the refurbishment and extension of an existing school building which was originally built in 1861.

The building was formally closed down in 1983 and left vacant for over 30 years until mha oversaw the £300k works to transform the listed building into a vibrant community facility. The works included the creation of a new community hall, meeting rooms and kitchen with supplementary lobby, stores, WC’s and baby changing facilities.
