About Us

mha was established in 1991 by chartered architect Michael Herron and is a friendly and approachable architectural practice based in Mid-Ulster, working on projects throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland.
From its foundation, the practice has sought to deliver innovative designs and quality buildings to meet and exceed our clients’ expectations and strives to offer a tailored service and provide design expertise in architecture, planning and landscaping for both new build and refurbishment projects. Our designs originate from thoughtful consideration and understanding of our client’s specific needs and requirements, while also carrying out detailed analysis to address wider contextual issues of the project, which include the financial, social and environmental circumstances. mha strive to reduce carbon footprint within our design and the construction process.
We pride ourselves in the personal approach we have towards our clients and their projects and allocate a dedicated design team to each scheme. This allows our clients to liaise directly with their allocated contact within mha to ensure information and requests can be responded to promptly should the need arise or address any queries they might have.
The practice’s architects are chartered members of the Royal Institute of British Architects with key members of staff also being members of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and the AECB (Association for Environment Conscious Building). We also have staff qualified in specialist areas including Health and Safety and Project Management.
