mha were appointed by Northern Ireland Housing Executive in 2016 to convert 2 no. derelict 2 storey dwellings to community hub on ground floor with 2 no. flats on second floor. mha utilised the existing fabric where possible so as to reduce the carbon footprint with retention of existing trees, railings and pavers where possible.
Coney Island Housing Scheme, Maghery
mha were chosen by Rural Housing Association in 2005 to design and oversee the construction of 8no. houses within a rural setting. The houses were finished with tiled roofs and timber doors and windows. The scheme was completed within time and budget.
Private Dwelling
mha were appointed to carry out a restoration of an existing single storey dwelling and also extend by adding an additional storey. The works sought to retain and reuse the natural basalt stone of the original property while also matching the feature red brick soldier opening surrounds.

mha were commissioned in 2006 to design a highly energy efficient private dwelling house. The property used highly insulated construction methods and incorporated a mechanical heating and ventilation recovery system to maximise the high levels of air tightness achieved. The house also sought to be energy self-sufficient with a wind turbine and photovoltaics being installed.
